Cal Poly Releases Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Schedules

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Three home meets highlight the 2022 Cal Poly Track and Field schedule released Tuesday afternoon.
The Mustangs will host the Cal Poly Open on March 4, the Cal Poly Invitational on March 25-26 and the Mustang Invitational on April 22.
The outdoor season opens March 4 with the Cal Poly Open. UC Davis will host the Big West Conference Championships, starting with the heptathlon and decathlon on May 6-7 and the rest of the events on May 13-14. Cal Poly claimed its first Big West women's team title last spring while the men finished second.
The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas, will host the NCAA West Preliminaries on May 26-28 with the University of Oregon to host the NCAA Division I National Championships on June 8-11.
Cal Poly's women's indoor track and field season begins Man. 22 at the Michigan Invitational. Three other indoor meets are on the Mustangs' schedule, culminating with the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 11-12 in Birmingham, Alabama.
