SAN LUIS OBISPO – Nine days into its preseason training camp, the Cal Poly women's soccer program hosts Fresno State for a Wednesday, Aug. 11 exhibition matchup inside Alex G. Spanos Stadium.
Kickoff from Alex G. Spanos Stadium is 6 p.m. for Cal Poly, which produced a 4-0 exhibition victory at NAIA Westmont on Saturday. Midfielders McKenna Carbon, Kate Reedy and Megan Hansen and forward Nikki Trucco each found the back of the Westmont net for Cal Poly.
Following Wednesday home exhibition, Cal Poly hosts the program's annual Green vs. White intrasquad match on Saturday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. The Mustangs begin the regular season with a four-game home stand that commences on Thursday, Aug. 19 versus No. 24 Stanford at 7 p.m.
Cal Poly, which opened its fall camp on Aug. 3, returns eight starters and 21 letterwinners from its 2019 squad (none of the Big West Conference's 11 member programs competed during the 2020-21 school year).
