A 68 by Noh and a 70 by Cantlay Propel Cal Poly into Second Place

SECOND-ROUND RESULTS
HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colorado -- With a four-under-par 284 total Saturday, the Cal Poly women's golf team jumped into second place after 36 holes of play in the Ron Moore Intercollegiate at the Highlands Ranch Golf Course near Denver.
Coach Sofie Aagaard's Mustangs are just four strokes behind first-place East Tennessee State with one more round to be played Sunday on the 6,415-yard par-72 course.
Leading the way for Cal Poly was freshman Kaylyn Noh with a four-under-par 68 that featured seven birdies and three bogeys. Noh, who rallied from Friday's round of 76, is at even par 144 for 36 holes, jumping from 62nd place into a tie for 12th place.
Noh carded a 69 in the Hobble Creek Fall Classic on Sept. 14.
Caroline Cantlay added a 70 Saturday that included five birdies and a trio of bogeys. Cantlay is tied for fifth place with a two-under-par 142 total.
Also at 142 is freshman Kamille Dimayuga thanks to her 72 Saturday with three birdies and three bogeys.
Nicole Neale is tied for ninth place with a second-round 74 and a one-under-par 143 total. Jensen Jalufka rounded out Cal Poly's scoring with a 75 for a 152 total and 58th-place tie.
Sharing first place after two rounds of play are Tereza Melecka (69-70) of East Tennessee State and Toni Sottile (69-70), both with five-under-par 139 totals. Hollie Muse (65-76) of East Tennessee State anD Anna Krekling 971-70) of Denver share third place at 141.
Cal Poly leads the field in par-4 scoring by 11 strokes with a 3.88 average and also is No. 1 with 20 birdies through 36 holes of play. Individually, Noh is tied for third in par-3 scoring at one under par while Cantlay leads i par-4 scoring at two under par. Both Noh and Dimayuga are second in oar04 scoring at one under par. The Mustangs have no players in the top 15 in par-5 scoring.
Noh is first with seven birdies over two rounds of play and Cantlay is second with five.
