
Cal Poly Women's Tennis Defeated by Santa Clara 4-0

SANTA CLARA, Calif.— The Cal Poly women's tennis team fell to Santa Clara 4-0 Sunday in their second day in a row playing on the road after falling to Sacramento State Saturday.
The Broncos (5-5) took the doubles point after wins at the Nos. 1 (6-0) and 2 spot (6-1).
In singles play, Santa Clara's Madison Clarke took down Mackenzie Worsnop 6-3, 6-1 at the No. 1 spot. Maddie Pothoff beat Susanne Boyden 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 2 spot and Zeina El Tawil defeated Caroline Williams at the No. 3 slot 6-0, 6-0 to secure the 4-0 victory.
The rest of the singles matches did not finish.
Cal Poly (3-9, 0-2) takes to the road again next Saturday, March 17 to face Cal State Stanislaus at 11 a.m.
