
Cal Poly Men's Tennis Defeats Fresno State at Home 4-2

Cal Poly men's tennis defeated Fresno State 4-2 in a dual match for its second home win of the weekend.
Juniors Josh Ortlip and Dominic Bechard went undefeated on the weekend helping Cal Poly boost their record to 5-1.
In doubles, Ortlip and senior Axel Damiens defeated Cagatay Soke and Xander Veys 6-4.
Bechard and senior Karl Enander helped the Mustangs secure the doubles point defeating Mantas Bugailiskis and Youssef Hassan 6-4.
Ortlip, playing in the one spot, finished his dominant weekend defeating Xander Veys 6-4, 6-1.
Sophomore Antoine Noel defeated Jeremy Moser 7-6, 6-2.
Damiens secured the win for Cal Poly defeating Zdneek Derkas 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.
Freshman Alexander Stater lost to Cagatay Soke 6-4, 6-2 and freshman Andrew Whitehouse lost to Cem Ertutk 6-0, 6-4.
Bechard played Mantas Bugailiskis but did not finish. At the time it ended Bechard was leading 5-7, 6-3, 4-3.
Cal Poly returns to action next weekend to play in the ASU Invitational in Tempe, AZ. Matches start at 1:00 p.m. on Friday and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Arizona State, Cal Poly, Loyola Marymount and Fresno State will all play.
