
Cal Poly Women's Tennis Defeated by Gonzaga 7-0

RENO, Nev. – The Cal Poly women's tennis team fell 7-0 to Gonzaga Saturday afternoon in its second day of matches in Reno, Nev.
The Mustangs took on Gonzaga in doubles play, where Susanne Boyden and Abby Bacharach were defeated by Sophie Whittle and Graciela Rosas 6-3 on court two, while Louise Oxnevad and Celine Gruaz were beat by Kate Ketels and Haruna Tsuruta on court three 6-1.
Following doubles play, the Mustangs went into singles play where Seriana Saltzen was beat by Whittle on court two 6-0, 6-3.
Gruaz fell to Domonique Garley on court five, 6-0, 6-1. Boyden put up a fight against Apollo, as she pushed her to three sets but couldn't hold on, falling 6-0, 5-7, 10-4.
The Mustangs are now 0-10 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.
Cal Poly will be back on the courts to take on Cal State Stanislaus on Sunday March 26 and Hawai'i Tuesday March 28.
