No. 53 Cal Poly Hosts Mustang Tennis Alumni Weekend

MUSTANG TENNIS ALUMNI WEEKEND
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The 53rd-ranked Cal Poly men's tennis team hosts two Big West Conference foes during the program's annual alumni weekend, which includes a meet and greet and social on Friday and a pre-match tailgate and end-of-the-year banquet on Saturday. Cal Poly hosts No. 72 UC Irvine at 1 p.m. Friday and UC Riverside at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Cal Poly defeated Hawaii, 7-0, during its conference opener on Monday afternoon and collected wins at Boise State (5-2) last Monday and UNLV (4-3) on Friday. Overall, the Mustangs are 7-2 at home and for the third time this season have cobbled together three straight wins heading into this weekend's action.
After the conclusion of the match on Friday versus UCI, an opportunity to get to know the men's tennis team during a meet and greet occurs at 5 p.m. at Mustang Courts. Following that, a social at Luna Red begins at 7 p.m.
Luna Red is located at 1023 Chorro St. in San Luis Obispo.
Prior to Saturday's match against UC Riverside, a pre-match tailgate sponsored by Ernie Ball Guitars, complete with DJ's begins at 11 a.m. Food will be provided by Firestone Grill in San Luis Obispo.
Following the conclusion of Saturday's match, the Cal Poly men's and women's tennis program's year end banquet will take place at 6 p.m.
