
Mustangs travel to face Arizona, DePaul

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Looking to add to a three-match winning streak, the 58th-ranked Cal Poly men's tennis team will travel to Tucson, Ariz. for a pair of nonconference duals later this week.
The Mustangs (5-2) will take on Arizona (6-2) at 11 a.m. Friday at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center before playing DePaul (3-4) at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The Mustangs won their most recent meeting against the Wildcats, also in Tucson, 6-1, on Feb. 4, 2012. Friday's dual will be the third match against a Pac-12 Conference opponent for Cal Poly this season after already facing UCLA and USC.
Cal Poly is coming off a 5-2 win over Loyola Marymount.
The Mustangs are led at No. 1 singles by senior Andre Dome (5-2 in duals), who was No. 32 in the latest ITA rankings. Marco Comuzzo (4-3) and Jordan Bridge (4-1) have led Cal Poly at Nos. 2 and 3 singles. At No. 1 doubles, Dome and Bridge have teamed to forge a 4-0 record.
This past weekend, Arizona split a pair of home matches, falling 4-3 to New Mexico before sweeping UC Riverside 7-0. At No. 2 singles, Kieren Thompson is undefeated for the Wildcats this season.
DePaul, which defeated Toledo 4-3 last week, is led by Filip Dzanko (4-3 in duals) at No. 1 singles.
