
Dome Draws No. 3 Eric Quigley from Kentucky in Round One of NCAA's

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Cal Poly's No. 1 singles player, junior Andre Dome, has drawn Eric Quigley from the University of Kentucky it was announced today in Athens, GA. Dome enters the championship as the 41st-ranked player in the latest ITA poll while Quigley is ranked 3rd.
Dome will take on Quigley at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex at the University of Georgia on May 23rd. First serve for the match is set for 8:30 am (PT).
Dome was named the Big West Conference Player of the Year when he dominated Big West competition with a 7-0 record and did not drop a set in any match. He posted a 16-4 record overall in dual matches at the No. 1 singles position. The junior has defeated six nationally ranked opponents this season including wins over No. 43 Georgy Batrakov of BYU and No. 44 Matija Pecotic of Princeton, both in straight sets.
Quigley, named the SEC Player of the Year, has posted a 25-2 record in dual matches this season.
Also announced today, the doubles draw, the duo of Dome and Matt Fawcett will face Jonas Lutjen and Nik Scholtz of Mississippi on May 24th.
Dome and Fawcett, ranked 64th in the latest ITA poll, are 11-1 in dual matches this season with two wins over ranked doubles teams.
Lutjen and Scholtz are ranked 13th in the latest poll and post a 17-4 dual match record with eight of the wins coming on the No. 1 court.
