
No. 49 Men's Tennis Travels to No. 34 Santa Clara, Saturday

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The 49th-ranked Cal Poly Mustangs will look to move up in the national poll when the team travels to Santa Clara, ranked 31st, for a match on Saturday, April 7.
The Mustangs are coming off a 4-1 over Pacific and enter the non-conference match with an 11-5 overall record. Santa Clara enters the match 16-4 after defeating USF, 7-0, earlier this week.
The No. 34 Santa Clara men's tennis squad improved to 16-4 this season with a 7-0 victory over West Coast Conference and Bay Area foe USF. The Broncos swept singles play and won two doubles matches on the way to the 7-0 win.
Junior Andre Dome, ranked 20th, leads the team with a 12-2 singles record from the first court. While fellow junior Jordan Bridge has posted an impressive mark of 9-2 from the fourth court.
In doubles play the team of Dome and Matt Fawcett post a 5-1 record on the first court and are currently ranked 55th in the nation.
Bridge and Brian McPhee, playing from the second court, boast a 10-2 mark.
