Chris Baker is in his 24th year in Cal Poly Athletics.
He began his career back in 1996 as a marketing intern and has held the positions of Director of Marketing, Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing and Promotions, Associate Athletic Director for Advancement and, as of December 2019, Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations.
In his current role, Chris oversees the day-to-day operations of Athletic Advancement, Stampede Club, Communications, Marketing and Fan Experience, the Ticket Office and Special Events.
A Mission College Prep alumnus in San Luis Obispo, Baker graduated from the College of Business at Cal Poly in 1997 with a bachelor of science degree, concentrating in marketing.
Baker and his wife, Bryanna, have one daughter, Carly, two twin boys Dylan and Connor and reside in San Luis Obispo.
