SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Cal Poly women's tennis program announced that Shreya Ravilla, a four-star recruit by Tennis Recruiting, has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her athletic and academic career at Cal Poly starting in the fall of 2020.
Ravilla, a native of Fremont, Calif., has been ranked as high as the No. 75 recruit in the class of 2020 and the 14th best in California by tennisrecruiting.net. She also helped Saint Francis High School win back-to-back league championships during her time there.
"We're very excited for Shreya to join our Mustang family," head coach Kat Winterhalter said of Ravilla. "Shreya is a tough competitor and has great work ethic. She fits in well with our culture and we look forward to seeing her develop at Cal Poly."
Ravilla said she plans to major in economics and said she chose Cal Poly because she "really liked the coaches and the team, and I feel like it's a great place for me to maximize my potential."
Following the 2020 season, the Mustangs will lose three seniors to graduation.
