After a stellar indoor and beach volleyball collegiate career, Crissy Jones enters her second season as Assistant Coach for the Mustangs.
Jones played for the Cal Poly beach volleyball team in 2019 as a graduate transfer after playing the previous four years at the University of Washington on both its indoor and beach volleyball team. For the Mustangs in 2019, she helped lead the team to its first Big West title and NCAA Tournament appearance. She paired with Tia Miric as Cal Poly's No. 1 pairing, going a team-best 22-8 on their way to being named AVCA Beach All-Americans and becoming the first Cal Poly beach volleyball tandem to earn Big West Pairs Team of the Year.
During her time at Washington, she was the Huskies' first All-Pac 12 First Team selection for beach volleyball. During her beach career at Washington, she had a career record of 33-15 and was also a USAV Collegiate Beach Volleyball selection and an All-Pac 12 Beach Volleyball Second Team selection. On the indoor volleyball side, she was a three-time All-Pac 12 selection, Second-Team AVCA All-American, and 2014 Pac-12 All-Freshman Team selection.
Originally from Long Beach, Jones is currently also playing professionally on the AVP Tour and is finishing her degree at Cal Poly.
