After concluding her playing career with Cal Poly in 2021, Amanda Walker joined the Mustang beach volleyball program as the Director of Operations before the 2022 season.
Prior to coming to Cal Poly as a graduate transfer for the 2021 season, Walker spent four years playing on the indoor volleyball team at Scripps College in Claremont where she finished her career as a two-time AVCA All-American right-side hitter with 879 career kills. Her 407 kills as a junior ranks No. 3 all-time in Scripps College history while her 367 as a senior ranks 11th. She earned an undergraduate degree from Scripps College in both economics and computer science.
Originally from Newport Beach, Walker attended Newport Beach High School where she played indoor volleyball and was both an All-League performer on the court and in the classroom.
