Personal -- Born on Feb. 28, 1995 in San Jose ... son of Ben and Michelle ... his father also competed in track and field at Cal Poly (from 1988 to 1990) ... has a brother, Michael, who played baseball for the Mustangs before being drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 25th round in 2013 ... majors in recreation, parks, & tourism administration.
