2018 -- Track: Earned seventh place in the 10,000 meters at the Big West Conference Championships on May 11, posting a time of 34:04.34 to tally 2 points for the Mustangs in the team standings at CSUN ... also competed in the 5,000 meters at the conference finals, coming in 19th place with a performance of 15:22.55 ... his top 5,000m time — 14:35.71 — took 16th at the Mt. SAC Relays April 20 ... spring also included a 3,000m PR of 8:32.02 at UCLA’s Invitational on April 14 (good for third place) ... began his season close to home, finishing fourth in the 3,000 at the Cal Opener in Berkeley on March 3, at 8:37.33, before bettering the time to 8:33.30 a week later at UCSB’s Tri-Meet ... added a 5,000m showing of 14:49.87 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival on March 30 ... also earned Big West All-Academic Team accolades. Cross Country: Redshirted.
2017 -- Track: Competed in the 3,000 meters on two occasions — debuting with a time of 8:37.33 to take fourth place at the Cal Opener on March 3, before improving to 8:33.30 at the UCR Tri-Meet on March 10 (good for second place) ... also earned Big West Conference Commissioner’s Honors academically.
Prep -- As a senior for Monte Vista High School in Danville, finished 11th in the 3,200-meter final at the 2016 CIF State Track Championships, with a career-best time of 9:06.60 ... also clocked an eighth-place 3,000m time of 8:47.19 at the Stanford Invitational, along with a sixth-place performance of 4:21.99 in the 1,600m at the East Bay Athletic League Championships in the spring of 2016 ... in cross country for the Mustangs, came in 76th place at the state championship meet in 2015, running the 5k Woodward Park course in Fresno in 15:41.20.
