2012-- Competed in the javelin with his best result at the Cal Poly/UCSB Dual throwing 119-feet, 2-inches... and finishing in fourth place. In the pole vault his best vault of the season came at the Big West Championships with his 15-feet, 5-inches vault and a 10th place finsh.
2011-- Competed in the 200m dash at the Cal Poly/UCSB Dual finishing in 24.67 and fourth place. At the Big West Championships had his best result in the pole vault with his 15-feet. 9.25-inches sixth place finish.
High School—Reese attended Redwood High School in Larkspur, CA. He participated in track and field and in 2009 set the school record with 15’1”
Personal—Reese is majoring in environmental studies and his career ambition is to be a consulting engineer. Reece says his old coach, Bruce Hotaling, shaped him into who he is as a person and a vaulter.
