2012— Outdoor: At the Big West Championships, ran a personal best 2:11.15 in the 800m finishing third. Had a season best 1:06.04 in the 400m hurdles at the Cal Poly/Fresno State Dual finishing second.
2011-- Outdoor: Ran a personal record time in the 400m hurdles at 1:03.56 at the Cal Opener finishing first… Ran a season best 800m in 2:11.84 at the Cal Poly Invite and won.
Indoor: Ran the 600yd in 1:36.77 at the UW Indoor Open finishing in seventh place… Ran the 400m at the UW Husky Classic in 59.11 and finished in 30th place.
2010— Indoor: Ran the 600yd in 1:26.89 at Run for the Dream finishing in third place… In the 800m, she finished in 14th place at 2:16.85.
High School— Lia attended Bishop O’Dowd High School in Oakland, CA. She competed in track and field where she ran in the CIF California State Track and Field Championships, North Coast Meet of Champions, and the Sacramento Meet of Champions.
Personal—Lia is majoring in construction management. She says she chose Cal Poly because of the learn by doing philosophy. Lia’s nickname is Shakes and says she enjoys sports.
