High School—Kyle attended Rancho Buena Vista High School in Vista, CA. Kyle competed in soccer, as well as four years of varsity cross country and varsity track in high school. Kyle was double league champion in 880m and 4 x 400m relay. In cross country, Kyle was first team all league and all-CIF.
Personal—Kyle is a biomedical engineering major. He chose Cal Poly because of its engineering prowess and the great track team. Kyle has a younger sister named Catherine.
