2021 -- Placed ninth in pole vault with mark of 15-7 1/4 in Big West Conference Championships ... established new personal best with mark of 16-4 3/4 to win pole vault in Spring Break Invitational ... also won event in Cal Poly Spring Break Challenge (16-0 3/4) and was second at the Wildflower Invitational (16-0 3/4), Fresno State Invitational (15-9) and Cal Poly Blue-Green Rivalry Meet (16-2 3/4).
2020 -- Spring sports schedule was canceled due to COVID-19; however, retains an extra season of NCAA eligibility moving forward into next year.
2019 -- Advanced to the Big West Championships for the second year in a row, as he cleared a season-best pole vault height of 15 feet, 9 inches to take second place vs. UC Santa Barbara and UC Riverside at the Gaucho Tri-Meet on March 9 ... at the Conference Finals, cleared 15’ 3.5” to finish 11th overall at Pauley Track on May 11 ... midway through the regular season, had three consecutive jumps of 15’ 3” on March 23, April 19 & April 27.
2018 -- Posted the squad’s second-leading pole vault performance as a freshman, as he cleared 16 feet, 0.75 inches at the UCSB Meet on April 28, winning vs. the Gauchos at the Blue-Green Rivalry Dual ... PR equates to 4.90m ... went on to take 11th place at the Big West Championships on May 12 at CSUN, jumping 15’ 0.25” at his Conference Finals debut ... added a fifth-place height of 14’ 9” at Cal State Fullerton’s Titan Challenge on March 31, before clearing 14’ 7.25” (also fifth) at the UCLA Invitational in Drake Stadium April 14.
Prep -- As a senior for Bellarmine Prep in San Jose, won the West Catholic Athletic League pole vault championship with a career-best clearance of 15 feet, 4 inches vs. Sacred Heart Cathedral and Presentation ... came in eighth place at the 2017 CIF State Championships, again at 15’ 4” ... took third at the Central Coast Section Finals as a senior, after a 15’ 1” jump against Riordan ... also finished fifth at the 2017 Sacramento Meet of Champions ... during freshman and sophomore years, ran cross country for the Bells, with a best 4k time of 15:45.0 in the fall of 2014 ... also participated in intramural basketball and surfing.
Personal -- Majors in Liberal Arts/Engineering Studies ... in addition to the track program, chose Cal Poly because of the “amazing location, unique major and fantastic facilities.”
