2016-17 -- Track: Finished as the Big West Championship runner-up in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at Cal State Fullerton on May 12, with a time of 9:11.15; earned all-conference status with the career-best performance ... lowered his steeple time at four consecutive meets to close out the season ... also was second at the Cal Poly/ShareSLO Invitational on March 25 (in 9:31.33) and fourth at the dual meet vs. UC Santa Barbara on April 29 (9:21.25) ... also competed in the 5,000 meters at the Big West Championships, taking fifth place in 15:00.35 ... earned Big West All-Academic honors for a third time in his career. Cross Country: Redshirted ... made the Big West Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for academics.

2015-16 -- Track: Redshirted. Cross Country: As a redshirt freshman, was consistently one of the Mustangs’ top runners all year ... began the fall with a sixth-place finish at the UCSB-hosted Lagoon Open on Sept. 5 (completing the 8k in 25:25.42) ... then was eighth at the Fresno State Invitational on Sept. 11 (with a 6k time of 18:34.0) and 27th at the Stanford Invitational on Sept. 26 (at 24:29.2 in another 8k) ... came in seventh at the Big West Championships at UC Riverside’s Ag/Ops Course on Oct. 31 (at 24:27.34) before adding a 71st-place NCAA West Regional 10k of 32:29.3 in Seattle on Nov. 13 ... also earned all-academic honors from the conference.

2014-15 -- Track: Won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the ShareSLO Invitational at home on March 28 with a time of 9:27.81; then lowered his PR to 9:14.46 while taking sixth place at the Big West Championships on May 15 at UC Riverside ... also posted a 5,000m showing of 14:53.23 at the conference finals, good for 15th. Cross Country: Competing unattached at the Cal Poly Invitational on Oct. 18 at Fairbanks Memorial Course, clocked a ninth-place time of 28:01.

Prep -- At Lake Washington High School in Kirkland, Wash., ran the 5k in 15:29.72 ... qualified for the state finals in each of his final three seasons, and won the 2A title as a senior ... PRs during track included 4:17.8 in the 1,600m and 9:07.28 in the 3,200m ... won the school’s Student-Athlete of the Year award and was an honor roll student; also belonged to the National Honor Society.
