2019 -- Defended her conference triple jump title on May 11, winning the championship with a mark of 41 feet, 8.75 inches ... became the Big West’s third woman in 36 years to repeat as a back-to-back triple jump champ at the meet ... led from the outset at the finals while improving her No. 4 ranking in program history, in the process becoming the first student-athlete to win two straight Big West women’s crowns for the event in 14 years ... almost advanced to the NCAA Final, taking 14th place in the National Championship Prelim Round by earning a career-best mark of 41 feet, 11.5 inches in Sacramento on May 25 ... was only two spots back of advancing to Texas ... selected as the Coca-Cola Cal Poly Student-Athlete of the Week for May 28 ... more victories during her junior year came on April 27 at the Blue-Green Rivalry Meet at UC Santa Barbara (via 40’ 9.5”) and the Cal Poly #ShareSLO Invitational on March 23 (at 40’ 1.5”) ... during the indoor season, posted a best mark of 41’ 1.5” at the New Mexico Classic in Albuquerque on Feb. 2 (moving to No. 3 in school history for indoor competition) ... in addition, made a third consecutive Big West All-Academic Team, earned back-to-back U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete honors, and was selected as a Cal Poly Scholar-Athlete of the Year for 2018-19 at the annual Night of the Mustang banquet.
2018 -- Won the Big West Conference championship for the triple jump on May 12, landing a mark of 41 feet, 7.75 inches at CSUN (achieving the medalist performance on both her initial & fourth attempts) ... established a PR of 41’ 8.5” on April 28 at UCSB, dominating the rivalry meet (topping the field by 1-foot-7), moving to No. 4 in school history ... ranked No. 34 west of the Mississippi in advancing to the First Round of the NCAA Championships ... also ranked 15th nationally among sophomores for the 2018 season (including No. 7 regionally) ... an additional triple jump win came at the Cal Opener on March 3 (via 37’ 10.75” in Berkeley), alongside second-place finishes at the UCSB Tri-Meet on March 10 (at 37’ 4”) and Titan Challenge March 31 (39’ 7.75”) ... at NCAA regionals, came in 34th place (ninth in Flight 2), posting a mark of 41’ 0.25” ... also at the Gauchos’ dual, recorded the second-best long jump performance on the team for the season, 18’ 11.75” ... made the Big West All-Academic Team, in addition to earning USTFCCCA Scholar-Athlete recognition.
2017 -- As a freshman, posted the No. 9 triple jump mark in school history — 40 feet, 4 inches — to win the event vs. UCSB on April 29 ... came in fifth place (tops among all freshmen) at the Big West Conference Championships at Cal State Fullerton on May 13, with a performance of 40’ 3.5” ... won the triple at the Cal Poly Invite on March 25, at 39’ 4” ... also at the dual against the Gauchos, contributed to the victorious 4x100-meter relay team (which won in 47.04 seconds) and posted a season-best long jump mark of 18 feet, 6.5 inches.
Prep -- As a senior for Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga, took fifth place at the CIF State Championships in the triple jump with a PR of 38 feet, 6.75 inches ... also won the Baseline League title in the long jump, with a career-best mark of 18’ 0.5” in 2015 ... exceeded 38 feet in the triple jump five times during 2016 for the Grizzlies, including four straight to close out the season ... also was a National Honor Society student.
Personal -- Majors in Political Science (concentrating in Global Politics), with a minor in French; aspires to work for the UN ... has a sister (Aminat) who was also a Division I track & field student-athlete at Columbia ... chose Cal Poly because of the “challenging academics and multitude of opportunities.”
