UCLA (2019-23)
Spent five years at UCLA but missed the 2022 and 2023 seasons due to injury ... In three playing seasons with the Bruins, she had a career record of 69-11, was named Second Team All-Pac 12 in 2021 and to the PAC-12 All-Freshman Team in 2019 ... helped UCLA win a national championship in 2019 and make it all the way to the national championship match in 2021 ... In 2019, she and her playing partner went a perfect 9-0 in postseason play, 5-0 at Pac-12's and 4-0 at NCAA's ... was named to both the Pac-12 All-Tournament Team and NCAA All-Tournament Team in 2019 and to the Pac-12 All-Tournament Team in 2021 ... as a freshman in 2019, she went 33-2 with 27 of those wins coming against pairs from ranked teams ... In the abbreviated 2020 season, she was 12-3 while mostly playing at the No. 2 spot in the lineup. Was a four-year letterwinner as a setter on the indoor team at Edison High School ... she played three positions for the Chargers, beginning her career as an opposite for the first two years and then as a setter her junior and senior seasons for head coach Matt Skolnik ... in 2016, she led the Chargers to the CIF Division I state championship, defeating Menlo-Atherton, 25-20, 25-21, 25-18 to end the year with a title and an overall record of 36-8 ... she also became the first team to win the triple crown in beach volleyball (Best of the Beach, AAU Nationals and AAU Junior Olympics) with incoming Bruin freshman Abby Van Winkle ... Sparks had a successful 2018 as well, representing Team USA three times this past summer in Cuba, China and Argentina ... was a member of the U.S. U19 Junior Beach National Team, finishing 2nd in Cuba NORCECA qualifier and 4th at U19 World Championships in China ... also finished 4th in the Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina in October of 2018 with Devon Newberry ... named an AVCA High School Beach First Team All-American in 2018 ... finished first at the AVPNext in Huntington Beach, Calif. ... competed for Seal Beach Volleyball.
