2021-22 -- Cross Country: Competed in all five meets as a redshirt freshman with a top finish of 17th in Big West Conference Championships with a 6K time of 21:17.0 ... also was 25th in season-opening Stump Invitational and 45th in Bronco Invitational ... Cal Poly's fifth finisher in NCAA West Regional at Sacramento with a 6K time of 22:06.2 for 113th place. Indoor Track & Field: Competed in one meet, running a time of 5:08.16 in the mile at the WSU Open. Outdoor: Redshirted … ran unattached in the 800 (2:12.88) at the Mustang Invitational.
2020-21 -- Cross Country: Season was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic. Indoor Season: Cal Poly did not compete in any indoor meets due to COVID-19 pandemic. Outdoor T&F: Placed fifth in Big West Conference Championships in 800 with personal-best time of 2:09.89, helping Mustangs to first-ever Big West team title ... also was 21st in the 1,500 prelims (5:19.61) ... earned pair of thirds in other meets, both in 1,500 at Cal Poly Blue-Green Rivalry Meet (personal-best 4:30.80) and Cal Poly Spring Break Challenge (4:33.23).
Prep -- As a senior for Newbury Park High School, came in 11th place at the CIF State Championship in the D2 cross country section, clocking a 17:57.7 in Fresno … earned a 3-mile time of 17:27.3 at the Southern Section Finals at Riverside XC Course earlier in the fall for the Panthers … closed her 2019 season at the Nike Cross Nationals in Portland, where she ran Glendoveer Golf Course in 19:10.2 to take 84th overall … made the VC Star All-County First Team … in a time trial in May of 2020, earned a mile performance of 4:52.0 ... previously with Westlake High School, recorded a best 800-meter performance of 2:12.02 at the 2019 CIF Southern Section Masters Meet, tallying sixth place at El Camino College … posted a 3,200m PR of 11:52.2 (good for ninth) at the 2019 Don Green Invitational at Moorpark High.
Personal -- Majoring in public health ... also visited UC Irvine; ultimately chose Cal Poly “because my first impression of the team and campus life was amazing; I absolutely wanted to be a part of the community & environment. I was comfortable with the distance from home to move to Cal Poly & the school has a great reputation for academics that I want to learn from” ... adds that her “career ambition is probably to be somewhere in the department of athletics in the future because I have grown up in the competitive environment as a child, and I feel like I’ve learned so much from being an athlete that I can succeed and helping others do the same, I hope.”
