Will Schafer is a fourth-year mechanical engineering major at Cal Poly. Will is entering his third season as a student manager for the Mustangs. His role includes field preparation and maintenance, as well as assisting coaches and players during practices and pre-game activities.
Will is a graduate of Meadowdale High School in Lynnwood, Wash. He has 13 years of baseball experience as a player and was elected team captain during his senior season. He also played basketball and football in high school.
Will's parents are Mary Jo and Scott Schafer and he has one brother, Brett.
