Alex Castellanos

A 2017 graduate of Righetti High School in nearby Santa Maria, Calif., Alex Castellanos was a pitcher for the Warriors, going 12-0 on the year with a 2.50 ERA. The Warriors made it to the CIF-Southern Section Divisionn 3 championship final before falling to Walnut and finished 28-7 on the year.
Castellanos, who earned All-Pac-8 League and All-CIF-Southern Section Division 3 honors, also played basketball at Righetti and was a scholar-athlete with a 4.00 grade-point average. He went on to play baseball at Allan Hancock College before transferring to Cal Poly.
Castellanos is a fifth-year Agriculture Business major.
