Jack Duffy, team manager of the baseball team at Bellarmine Prep for four years, is in his third season as team manager of the Cal Poly Mustangs baseball program.
A 2015 graduate of Bellarmine Prep in San Jose, Duffy earned the school's Spirit Award during graduation ceremonies. He also wrote for Prep2Prep.com for 2 1/2 years and earned reporter of the year honors in 2014. Duffy also was head yell leader for three years.
An agricultural business major at Cal Poly, Duffy became a Mustang because "Cal Poly is an awesome school that provides the smalll town environment I wanted and is still close to home." He also considered Alabama and South Carolina before choosing to attend Cal Poly.
Duffy, who aspires to work in professional sports, is the son of Tom and Pauline Duffy, both graduates of San Jose State. Jack has two sisters, Marie and Louise.
