Led the team and was second in the Big West in assists, averaging 10.31 per set while starting all 31 matches and playing in all 112 sets ... finished the season with 1,155 assists to move up into sixth in program history for career assists with 3,187 ... was third on the team in blocks (69) and service aces (24) ... was also third on the team in digs with 198, averaging 1.77 per set ... had 30+ assists in 25 matches recorded three double-doubles ... had a career-high 62 assists against Cal State Fullerton on Sept. 25 ... had a career-high 13 digs against Cal State Fullerton on Oct. 29 ... named Big West All-Academic for her strong work in the classroom.
2019 (Sophomore)
Named First Team All-Big West after averaging 9.47 assists per set, third best in the Big West ... ended the season with 1,042 assists to move into eighth in program history in career assists ... finished tied for third in the Big West after finishing the season with 32 service aces ... was third on the team in total blocks with 68 ... averaged 1.62 digs per set ... had 11 matches in which she finished with at least 40 assists and had two matches recording double-doubles ... in conference matches alone, she led the Big West in assists with 10.76 per set and was third in total aces with 18 ... set career highs in kills (8 twice), assists (59 at Pepperdine), and service aces (4 vs. Long Beach State) ... was named to the Big West Commissioner's Honor Roll with Honors for her strong work in the classroom.
2018 (Freshman)
One of three players to play in all 96 sets and start all 28 matches ... was named Big West Co-Freshman of the Year, becoming the first Mustang since Adlee Van Winden in 2015 and the fifth in program history to win the award, as well as Honorable Mention All-Big West ... directed the offense to a Big West leading .295 hitting percentage while averaging 10.32 assists per set, good for second in the conference ... also averaged 1.70 digs per set (fourth on the team), finished fourth on the team in total blocks with 44, and was tied for first on the team in service aces with 22 ... also recorded three double-doubles on the season and was named Big West Freshman of the Week three times
University HS
A four-year varsity starter for University High School, Avalon was part of two league championship teams ... She was a three-time team MVP, three year team captain, two-time league MVP, three time first-team all-league and rookie of the year her freshman year ... also earned an honor cord at graduation and was a member of her school's child development program
