2022 -- Won the conference title in the men’s pole vault at the Big West Championships with a mark of 16 feet, 11 inches in third year at Cal Poly … edged out Cal State Fullerton's Daniel Palacio based on fouls to become Cal Poly’s first conference champion in event since 2013 … posted a personal best of 17 feet, 4.25 inches in the pole vault at the NCAA West Preliminaries to finish 13th, one spot short of qualifying for the NCAA Finals in Eugene … mark of 17-2.75 at Mustang Invitational allowed him to qualify for NCAA West Preliminaries … finished first in the pole vault in five of the eight meets he competed in … recorded a PR of 20 feet, 5 inches in the long jump at the Cal Poly Invitational … named Big West Men’s Field Athlete of the Week on March 15, 2022 … received Big West Conference All-Academic honors.
2021: Placed third in pole vault at Big West Conference Championships with a personal-best mark of 16-7 1/4 ... won pole vault at Cal Poly Blue-Green Rivalry Meet (16-6 3/4) and Fresno State Invitational (15-9).
2020 -- Spring sports schedule was canceled due to COVID-19; however, retains an extra season of NCAA eligibility moving forward into next year.
Prep -- While with Interlake High School of Bellevue, Wash., came in second place at the 2019 WIAA 3A State Pole Vault Championship, with a clearance of 15 feet, 6 inches ... ranked No. 4 throughout all of Washington’s state rankings for the entirety of the season regardless of divisional classification ... four out of his final seven jumps were over 15 feet high ... won both the 2019 Sea-King & KingCo championships, in addition to tallying second place at the Nike Eason Invitational ... also competed for the Northwest Pole Vault Club out of Seattle ... started in distance running, as he had a cross country PR of 17:49.8 as a sophomore, in addition to other track & field bests including 4:54.78 for the 1,600m and 11:19.9 in the 3,200m ... also was a bilingual AP Scholar, in addition to participating in Fleurs as well as Link Crew.
Personal -- Majoring in aerospace engineering ... also visited UW and Seattle U; chose Cal Poly because “it had all the things I wanted my school to have, and the coach was great” ... aspires to become an engineer.
