Connor, Inskeep Named Big West Pair of the Week

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — After a stellar weekend going 4-0, Cal Poly beach volleyball’s Erin Inskeep and Ella Connor have been named the Big West Pair of the Week.
Inskeep and Connor had a dominant weekend in the opening event of the 2026 season at the Third Coast College Classic in Houston. Playing two matches apiece at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in the lineup, they won all four of their matches without dropping a set.
This is the third time Ella Connor has received the award in her career and the second time Inskeep has done so.
Inskeep and Connor helped the No. 3 Mustangs go 4-0 in Houston over the weekend, all via 5-0 sweeps. They beat Saint Mary’s, Houston Christian, Tarleton State, and Southern Miss.
In the latest rankings that came out Tuesday, Cal Poly stayed at No. 3 for the second straight week. They will be put to the test this weekend when heading down to Los Angeles for four matches, which include facing No. 2 UCLA Friday at 2 p.m. and No. 4 USC Saturday at 10 a.m.
