SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — After one of the winningest seasons in program history, the Cal Poly women’s tennis team finished the season ranked No. 59 in the final ITA team rankings.
The end-of-season ranking for the Mustangs is the team’s third highest to end a year in program history and their best since finishing the 2011 campaign ranked No. 39. Cal Poly was nationally ranked in 12 consecutive ITA polls to end the year, reaching a season high 38th on March 4 — tied for the second highest ranking in the program’s history and the best in 14 years.
The Mustangs advanced to their fifth straight Big West Championship match this season and finished the year with a 19-5 overall record, the second most wins in a season in the program's Division I history, fifth most all-time and the most since going 20-7 in 2003.
Six players received All-Big West honorees following the 2025 season, tied for the most in program history and matching the six the team received in both 2022 and 2004.
