Jalufka Records Seventh Place Finish at USF Invitational

SAN FRANCISCO — Redshirt senior women’s golfer Jensen Jalufka continued her strong month of play with another top 10 finish Tuesday at the USF Invitational played at Olympic Golf Club in San Francisco.
Jalufka shot a seven over par 220 for the tournament to finish seventh at the par-71, 6,064 yard course. She shot rounds of 76 and 75 in the first two rounds on Monday before carding a final round of two under 69 Wednesday to jump up 14 spots in the individual standings.
This marks the fourth consecutive tournament she has placed in the top 10 and her fifth round this year she has shot in the 60’s.
Elsewhere, sophomore Sarah Yoo finished tied for 23rd at 14 over 227 after rounds of 73, 75, and 79. Senior Kamille Dimayuga finished tied for 37th at 18 over par.
As a team, the Mustangs finished seventh out of eight teams.
This marked the final regular season event for Cal Poly as they now prepare for the Big West Championship April 13-15 in Las Vegas at Spanish Trail Country Club.
