SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — With the early signing window opening on Wednesday, Cal Poly Women’s Golf Head Coach Courtney Roberts and Assistant Coach Beth Lillie are excited to announce two incoming freshmen for the 2026-27 season.
Ashley Gettleman / Scotts Valley, CA / The Stevenson School
Coach Roberts' Thoughts: “Ashley is such a dynamic player — she’s athletic, powerful, and has an incredible passion for the game. She’s one of those players who’s always working, always learning, and just loves to compete. She’s an experienced junior golfer and recently helped lead her golf team to a team win at the CIF NorCal Regional Championship, with eyes on the CIF State championship next week at Poppy Hills. Her experiences academically and athletically have prepared her well for this next step. She’s a true student of the game who will bring great energy to our program, and we can’t wait to have her on campus.”
Lexi Lowe / San Jose, CA / Leland High School
Coach Roberts' Thoughts: “Lexi is an exciting addition to our roster and someone we believe has a very bright future ahead. She’s a long hitter with great athleticism and an outstanding ability to be gritty and get the ball in the hole. She has a lot of firepower and brings great experience winning across the state. What stands out most about Lexi is her passion for Cal Poly and her eagerness to help our team achieve great things. She brings a vibrant presence to every environment she’s in, and we know her enthusiasm and work ethic will make an immediate impact on our program.”
