Two Mustangs in Top 10 After Second Round of Lyon Links Invitational

DUBLIN, Ireland — Two Cal Poly men's golfers are in the top 10 after the second round of the Lyons Links Golf Invitational in Dublin.

Senior Baron Szeto is tied for sixth at four under par after shooting a one under 71 in the second round at the Royal Dublin Golf Club. Meantime, sophomore Leo Metzger moved up three spots to a tie for ninth at two under after shooting a two under 70 Thursday.

Sophomore Reese Sato is right behind at one under par to be tied for 14th after he shot a one under 71 Thursday. Freshman Nolan Kuszyk and sophomore Louis Pilod are both tied for 18th at two over after each shooting one over 73's in the second round.

Parker Mapes is in 26th at five over, Rafa Guerrero is tied for 27th at six over, Sean Lehman and Jackson Parrish are tied for 30th at seven over, and Luke Montoya is in 35th at 19 over.

As a team, Cal Poly is in fourth at two under par. The third and final round of play wraps up Friday.
