SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — After a strong showing in the Windy City, the Cal Poly men’s cross country program received votes in the latest USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll released Tuesday.
The Mustang men received two votes in the Week 3 USTFCCCA poll, marking the third straight year the team has garnered national votes during the season.

His performance earned him Big West Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors. Sophomore Chris Caudillo took 29th (23:48.64), redshirt junior Aidan McCarthy 34th (23:52.17), redshirt freshman Rory Catsimanes 43rd (23:59.98), senior Colton Swinth 53rd (24:12.95), senior Anthony Guerra 59th (24:16.66) and redshirt junior Michael Chambers 62nd (24:17.09) to round out the top seven finishers for the Mustangs at the meet.
