Cal Poly Women's Basketball Hosting Kickoff Event Oct. 14

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Cal Poly women's basketball program is inviting fans and supporters to attend its preseason kickoff event on Saturday, Oct. 14. to get to meet and know more about the 2023-24 team.
The day kicks off with an open Cal Poly women's basketball practice fans can attend from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The kick-off event will then take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the University Union Conference Room 220 on campus. There will be food, a silent auction, and a presentation from head coach Shanele Stires.
Anyone interested in reserving their spot to attend should contact assistant coach Njeri Nelms at nelms@calpoly.edu or by phone at (805) 459-4199.
