Scholtes, Dimayuga Land on WGCA All-American Scholar Team

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Cal Poly golfers Elizabeth Scholtes and Kamille Dimayuga have been named to the 2022-23 WGCA All-American Scholar Team.
A total of 1,401 women's collegiate golfers from 378 programs were recognized with this prestigious honor. Criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team include a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season, and competed in at least 50 percent of the team's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
Honored for the fifth time, Scholtes concluded her Mustang career with a 75.40 scoring average over 105 rounds with 19 top-20 finishes and 24 rounds of par or better, including three rounds in the 60s.
A graduate of Alameda High School in the Bay Area, Scholtes graduated with a degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting.
Dimayuga, who will be a junior in the fall, compiled a 74.1 scoring average over 28 rounds this season and will carry a 74.77 career scoring mark over 52 rounds into her third season with the Mustangs.
Dimayuga, who has eight career top-20 finishes and 17 rounds of par or better to her credit, including a 67 and 68, is a graduate of Troy High School in Fullerton and is majoring in economics with a concentration in accounting. She is honored by the WCGA a second time.
