SECOND-ROUND RESULTS
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Cal Poly's Austin Liu shot a 71 Saturday and enters Sunday's final round of the El Macero Classic in the top 25.
Liu has a one-under-par 143 total through 36 holes, tied for 24th place, at the El Macero Golf Club. Jackson Parrish carded a 72 Saturday and moved up into 52nd place.
Cal Poly's other scores were 74s by Joey Zambri (49th place), Ben Quick (52nd place) and Baron Szeto (71st place).
Cal Poly enters the final round in 15th place with a 583 total for 36 holes. San Francisco and Loyola Marymount are tied for first place with 567 totals, two shots ahead of third-place Cal State Fullerton.
Individual leader with 18 holes to play is Matthew Anderson of San Francisco with rounds of 64 and 71 for a nine-under-par 135 total, one shot ahead of Matthew Sutherland of Fresno State (69-67) and Omar Morales of UCLA (69-67).
