Cal Poly, UNLV Cancel Entire Three-Game Weekend Series

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Cal Poly's non-conference baseball series versus UNLV today through Sunday has been canceled due to wet weather conditions in San Luis Obispo and will not be made up.
It marks the first time that an entire series at Baggett Stadium has been canceled due to rain. In 1995, Cal Poly's first year in Division I, the Mustangs' Western Athletic Conference series at San Luis Obispo Stadium against Cal State Northridge was canceled due to rain and made up as part of a six-game series at Northridge.
In 2015, Cal Poly's entire series at TCU was canceled due to snow.
The Mustangs return to action Wednesday by hosting USC for a 6 p.m. single game inside Baggett Stadium.
