RESULTS
LA QUINTA, Calif. -- Only half of the 24 teams competing in The Prestige men's golf tournament completed their second rounds Tuesday on the Greg Norman Course at PGA West.
Cal Poly's five golfers entered in the three-day 54-hole event had from three to six holes to complete when play was suspended.
Austin Liu was two over par for his second round with six holes left to play while Baron Szeto was three over par with three holes remaining. Jackson Parrish is four over par with six holes left, Parker Mapes five over with three holes remaining and Ben Quick seven over with three holes to play.
The Mustangs are 21st with play resuming Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. Round three will be a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m.
Pepperdine finished its round and is at 14 under par, four shots ahead of Stanford and eight in front of Texas Tech.
Individually, Michael Thorbjornsen of Stanford is in the clubhouse at seven under par, one stroke ahead of Tyran Snyders of Texas Tech and first-round leader William Mouw of Pepperdine.
