AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. — Highlighted by Jadyn Snaer adding to her school record in the 60-meter dash, the Cal Poly women's indoor track & field wrapped up competition at the Air Force Ralph Lindeman Invitational on Saturday.
As a team, the Mustangs brought home seventh with 35 points.
After obliterating the school record in the women's 60-meter dash during prelims Friday, Snaer continued to impress Saturday, dropping .01 seconds off her time with a 7.50 to capture third in the event. Shelby Daniele, who flew past the previous school record during prelims as well, took home fifth with a 7.68 in the finals.
After the trip to Colorado, Snaer (7.50) and Daniele (7.66) now sit at No. 1 and No. 2 on Cal Poly's all-time list in the 60-meter dash.
Three Mustangs took the stage in the women's shot put. Junior Natalie Rogers led the way, capturing sixth with a toss of 41 feet, 11.5 inches. Junior Amaya Lopez-Fuller earned sixth with a personal best of 41-8, and sophomore Isabella Rigby (pictured above) placed ninth (38-10.5).
Aspin Oliver, Anisa Rind, Cassidy Hubert and Melissa Navarro helped Cal Poly finish fifth (4:07.46) in the 4x400-meter relay.
