
Parrish, Zambri Lead Cal Poly After 36 Holes in Windon Memorial

FIRST-DAY RESULTS
EVANSTON, Ill. -- Cal Poly sophomore Jackson Parrish carded a 70 in the second round of the Windon Memorial and climbed into the top 30 entering Tuesday's final round at the Evanston Golf Club.
Parrish finished 36 holes of play with a four-over-par 144 total on the 6,885-yard, par-70 course, sharing 29th place with seven other golfers.
Mustang Joey Zambri also is in the tie for 29th place after recording back-to-back rounds of 72. Parrish notched seven birdies over 36 holes while Zambri posted three birdies on the day.
Other Cal Poly finishers were Ben Quick with a 77 and 73 for a 150 total and 68th place, Luke Adam with a pair of 76s for a 152 total and 73rd place, and Drew Kim with 79 and 74 for a 153 aggregate and 76th place.
Competing as an individual, Mustang Baron Szeto checked in with a 75 and 74 for a 149 total and 61st place.
Cal Poly is tied for 12th place with Loyola of Maryland in the team standings. Kent State leads Marquette by one stroke and Memphis by three shots entering the final round.
Robbie Higgins of North Florida leads the individual leaderboard with rounds of 67 and 65 for an eight-under-par 132 total, one shot ahead of Little Rock's Jansen Smith. Ben MacLean of Kent State is third at five under par.
Parrish is tied for fifth with his seven birdies on the day.
