Brown Named to Top Drawer Soccer’s Freshman Top 100

SAN LUIS OBISPO – A 2021 United Soccer Coaches All-West Region second team selection, Cal Poly women's soccer defender Emma Brown was recently ranked No. 56 among TopDrawerSoccer.com's Women's Freshman Top 100 listing.
Brown, who appeared in 20 of 21 matches with 17 starts during her first collegiate season, helped Cal Poly produce six shutouts last fall. With Brown in the lineup, Cal Poly finished 13-8-0 overall and clinched a share of the Big West regular season title – its first since 2013.
Brown, a native of Clovis, Calif., was the only Big West competitor recognized among the top 100 players.
Previously, in November, Brown was named to the Big West All-Freshman Team.
