Dale Creighton was a nose guard on the Mustang football teams of 1965-68 and also competed in swimming in 1967 and 1968. He was named Mustang defensive lineman of the year in both 1966 and 1967, earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association and second-team United Press International Little All-Coast in 1967 (junior season) and was co-captain in 1968. Creighton also was a recipient of an NCAA post-graduate scholarship in 1968, one of 33 awarded in the country, and earned All-UPI Little All-Coast honors again.
He has served on the South Fork Union School District Board of Trustees for over 30 years, including a term as president, in Lake Isabella and owns Dale Creighton Farms, serving as farmer (carrots, potatoes, alfalfa and grain hay) and rancher (cows) for 40-plus years.Creighton and his wife Debi had six children.
His four passions in life are his family, farm, church and school. He is a fifth-generation pioneer settler, his family founding the local Methodist Church over 100 years ago, and is a member of the Honors Society Phi Kappa Phi.
