2009-10 – As a redshirt freshman, compiled 13-12 record … placed first in Cuesta Invitational with 4-0 mark and was fourth in Missouri Open … no falls, but won three matches by technical fall and five others by major decision … 1-4 in dual meets, defeating Ian Wrenn of San Francisco State by technical fall.
2008-09 -- Compiled 11-4 record wrestling unattached ... won all four matches in California Open for first place at 157 ... 6-2 in MVC Open ... two of his wins on the year were by fall and he earned pair of major decisions as well.
High School -- Finished second at 145-pounds at California State Championships as a senior in 2008 at Bakersfield High School ... compiled a 44-4 record in senior season ... began year ranked No. 14 nationally in his weight class by Wrestling USA Magazine ... Doc Buchanan Champion as a senior ... also won the Five-Counties League title ... as a junior, was ranked No. 15 nationally amongst juniors by Wrestling USA Magazine and No. 10 by Intermatwrestle.com.
