2010-11 – A stellar junior season with a 33-8 record, 14 falls and a third-place finish in Pacific-10 Conference Championship … earned second trip to nationals, but was 0-2 with losses to No. 2 Andrew Howe of Wisconsin and John-Martin Cannon of Buffalo … 10-1 in dual meets with four falls … enters senior season with 36 career falls … placed first in Cal Baptist Open and Fullerton Open, second in Reno Tournament of Champions and third in Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational … won 22 of his first 23 matches as a junior before losing to No. 9 Shane Onufer of Wyoming in Reno TOC finals … 12 of his first 20 wins were by fall … also earned one technical fall and six major decisions … shared team lead with Boris Novachkov with five riding time points in dual meets.
High School -- Three-time Washington State champion at Riverside High School ... compiled a 134-16 record in four years as a varsity wrestler ... won his regional twice and district three times ... went undefeated in his junior year ... won the Tri-State Championship in 2006 at 160-pounds ... won two titles at the USAW Freestyle State Championships and was a USAW Greco Roman State Champion in 2007 ... also a three-time letterman in football.
