2008-09 -- As a true freshman, compiled 16-13 record, including 4-5 mark in duals ... posted 2-2 mark in Pac-10 Championships, earning a pin and a major decision ... was 4-2 in the Missouri Open as well as in the California Open ... dropped 6-3 decision to Ryan Sonderegger of Portland State in dual but avenged the loss with a fall in 4:12 at Pac-10 Championships.

High School -- Three-time Washington State champion at Riverside High School ... compiled a 134-16 record in four years as a varsity wrestler ... won his regional twice and district three times ... went undefeated in his junior year ... won the Tri-State Championship in 2006 at 160-pounds ... won two titles at the USAW Freestyle State Championships and was a USAW Greco Roman State Champion in 2007 ... also a three-time letterman in football.
