High School -- A 2020 graduate of Dinuba High School ... finished sixth in the state finals as a senior, two years after an eighth-place state finish at 145 pounds ... as a junior placed second in the Temecula Battle for the Belt ... also played baseball, hitting .280 in four varsity seasons as a catcher and infielder, including a .317 mark as a junior in 2019 ... chose to be a Mustang because "I've always wanted to come here since I was a child."
