High School – Placed seventh in California State High School Championships at 130 pounds as a senior under head coach Travis Mills at Clovis North High School … claimed Tri-Rivers Athletic Conference title at 130 … posted 45-10 record with 32 falls in senior season … three-time state meet qualifier … earned titles in El Dorado and Raul Huerta tournaments … also lettered in cross country as a junior and football as a freshman and sophomore … visited Air Force before choosing Cal Poly.
