Head Coach Faith Mimnaugh on Caroline Hughes: She is a multi-positional player. Her length and anticipation skills will enable her to play guard and forward for us. She loves to press and has great ability to do so. She prides herself on rebounding and doing the little things to help her team win. She is what I call a "glue player". She makes everything fit together with her unselfish play. A Political Science major, Caroline may one day be ruling a different court with her Cal Poly degree.

High School:
Averaged 14.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 3.4 steals per game as a senior with the team posting a 21-11 overall record and 10-2 mark in conference games…Hughes led the Dougherty Valley Wildcats as a junior to a 28-3 overall record and a 12-0 mark in league play when she averaged 12.2 points, 9.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game… She led the team to a California ranking of 23^rd and 118^th in the nation… As a sophomore the team posted a 26-4 overall record and 10-1 mark in league play… Her freshman year the team posted an 18-10 overall mark and 5-7 record in league play. She was the 87^th-ranked player in her position according to ESPN Hoopgurlz, and a three star recruit… Helped lead the Wildcats to four-straight CIF North Coast Section Division III/II tournament appearances… Capturing the DII title in 2011…. Named all-league first-team as a junior and senior and second-team honors as a sophomore… Twice earned All-East Bay honors and selected to the Cal Hi All-State 3^rd Team as a senior… Played club basketball with East Bay Xplosion….
