Hayden Jory
- Title:
- Assistant Director of Operations
Following a four-year career and 72 appearances for the Cal Poly men’s basketball team, former guard Hayden Jory transitions to the program’s assistant director of operations role for the 2025-26 season.
Jory, who closed his career in March 2025 by helping lead Cal Poly to the Big West Championship semifinals, now provides operational support with a focus on player development, equipment and travel.
“Hayden showed a high-level understanding of our concepts as a player and had the respect of everyone in the locker room,” said second-year head coach Mike DeGeorge of Jory, who made a career best 26 appearances during his 2023-24 junior year. “He’s going to make a tremendous coach and we’re grateful he’s starting his professional career with us.”
A native of nearby Lompoc and the 2021 Channel League Defensive Most Valuable Player honoree at Cabrillo HS, Jory earned a degree in sports management from Cal Poly in May.
